    Concerned with your hearing aids performance?

    Over the course of a year your hearing aids performance can dip, this is normal as general wear and tear can cause there to be excessive wax build-up. Performance issues can come from several factors and it’s best to get them checked routinely, as your hearing can change over time. We offer adjustments to make sure your hearing aids are performing at their best.

    Can you repair my NHS hearing aids?

    Yes, we would firstly replace the batteries to make sure they are functioning and then undertake a thorough clean. This will involve removing excessive ear wax on the speaker or microphone and making sure the body of the device is fitted together correctly.

    Can completly broken hearing aids be repaired?

    While we can't guarantee that we will repair your hearing aid, we will do our best to make sure they are cleaned and functioning correctly for your hearing loss. We will always let you know straight away if we can't fix your hearing aid and find other solutions to make sure you aren't without a hearing aid.

    What is involved in a hearing aid repair appointment?

    We will have an inital discussion to check your general health and any related ear problems. This checks if you are having any difficulties that could be related to your hearing aids being damaged. Once we examine your ears we will then proceed to check the aids themselves. We will run them through a series of check to makes sure the microphones, speakers and body is working properly and cleaned. This appointment will take roughly 30 minutes and depending on the repair process, this can take up to 1 - 2 weeks.

    Can I send you my hearing aids to be repaired?

    Yes, if they are still under warrenty then you can send them back to the manufacturer for repair, typically free of charge. If they are not under warrenty then we can repair them or adjust them to fit your hearing loss. We care about your hearing and will make sure your devices are returned quickly. We understand the importance they hold in your lifestyle and want ensure you can hear all year round. Once we have repaired them we will get them posted back to you or you can pick them up in one of our clinics. We recommend coming to see us so we can ensure the fit, quality and build works with your ears. If you are not satisfied on return then you can return them to us for another inspeciton.
